Announcement

Join us at the Historic Flight Foundation for a chance to relive history with a world-class air-to-air photo opportunity!

In conjunction with Paine Field Aviation Day, the Historic Flight Foundation will be presenting this years first Air2Air Photo Experience on May 19 & 20.

The Air2Air Photo Experience will consist of both talks and photo opportunities for all beginning and experienced aviation photographers, both on the ground and in the air.

On Saturday, May 19th participants will have a chance to put their skills to the test during Paine Field’s Aviation Day event, which will feature 3 B-25s and 4 P-51 Mustangs, in addition to many other beautiful and rare aircraft. Some participants may choose to board one of the B-25s for this spectacular air-to-air opportunity.

Those enrolled in the Reenactor and Night Run-Up portion of the experience will then be given an exclusive photo shoot of some of Historic Flight’s most beautiful warbirds.  While daylight lasts local reenactors will pose with the aircraft under your direction, and once light fades a few of the warbirds will start their engines so you can capture the beautiful glow of their exhaust stacks.

The symposium of talks on Sunday, May 20th, will cover topics from basic camera operation to image editing and publication.

The Airborne portion on the 20th will take place on-board Historic Flight’s B-25 or T-6 Texan, and will give you the opportunity of a lifetime to shoot a P-51B or classic Spitfire Mk. IX!

Enrollment in the Airborne portion of the Air-to-Air Photography Experience also includes an annual membership to the Historic Flight Foundation.

PLEASE NOTE: In case of inclement weather, the airborne portion of the event will be rescheduled at a later date that coincides with previously scheduled Historic Flight Foundation operations and events.
